Every Sunday night is our Traditional Irish Seisiún. This year they are celebrating their 25th year with us! It is one of the longest running seisiúns in NYC and is hosted by Tony DeMarco (fiddle). Other guest musicians join in as the night goes on. In the past the seisiún has been the subject of an article in the NY Times and Tony appeared on “Live From Here” with Chris Thile on NPR. Without a doubt one of the best things you can do on a Sunday Night in NYC!

Our house band, "The 11th St. Bar Quintet", is comprised of Richard Clements piano, Murray Wall bass, Taro Okomoto drums, Grant Stewart tenor sax, and Joe Magnarelli trumpet. The Combine
Tuesday June 10th
The Combine is a New York-based band of seasoned musicians founded by Jonathan Gregg (“New York’s premier pedal steel guitarist,” according to AM New York), who play instrumental versions of 20th-century pop hits across the decades with a lineup that includes electric guitar, trombone, upright bass, and and drums. Individually their resumes include the Waitresses, the Raybeats, Norah Jones, Jimmy LaFave, Mary Timony, Tammy Faye Starlight, Cliff Westfall and countless others. Their June show at 11th St. comes on the heels of SUSS’ spring tour, which included numerous appearances at SXSW and headlining shows at the Big Ears festival.
If you’ve ever wondered what kind of band would jam on Gerry & the Pacemakers, Duke Ellington and Tears for Fears in one set and make it sound like it all hatched from the same egg, this the show for you.

9:00 - E. James Smith, a friend of 11th Street Bar since its opening in 1997, returns with The E. James Smith Band in fine form ready to rock and launch the 11th Bar into summer. 7:00 - Casey Neill is a songwriter from Portland, Oregon performing high energy indie folk, infused with haunting melodies and weather beaten narratives. Neill performs as a solo act as well as with his band, The Norway Rats. He tours throughout the USA, Japan, and Europe at clubs and listening rooms as well as festivals such as Newport Folk, Pickathon, and Bumbershoot. Steak (album release party)

Steak was founded in 1992 in Boulder, Colorado by 2 New York natives, Erik Lieblein (“a disturbingly refreshing front man” -Colorado Daily) and John Pancaldo (aka Jack Grace- “the hardest working eyebrows in showbiz" -SF Weekly) with Stu Damm on drums and TJ Thomas on bass. Mike Jay has been the primary bass player for most of the 21st century. The eclectic stage show that included giving away cars and singing, The Jordache Theme with dance moves, gained momentum and Steak began traveling between the East and West Coast a fair amount occasionally accompanying bands such as, The Beat Farmers, NRBQ, Uncle Tupelo, Aquarium Rescue Unit, Fishbone, The Funky Meters, Leo Nocentelli and Zigaboo Modeliste, Steak got a tour bus and lived on the road, relocating to San Francisco and eventually based themselves in their birthplace of New York City. Steak is primarily known these days for their song, Big Bear, which is featured in the climax of the Fox Searchlight comedy hit, Super Troopers (also Super Troopers 2). Hugh Pool Band (feat. the KR2)

The Hugh Pool Band has a residency here at 11th St. Bar on the third Thursday of each month unless Hugh’s out of town rocking the rest of America. Hugh is a musician, songwriter, producer, and member of the New York Blues Hall of Fame who plays guitar in a unique style that melds traditional Delta blues, country music and classic and psychedelic rock and roll. His instrument of choice is a National Steel Triolian, a resonator guitar somewhat like a Dobro, played with a spark plug wrench through an Ibanez TS-9 overdrive pedal and a Dunlop Dyna comp compressor. He also plays Harmonica, Banjo, Lap Steel, Mandolin, sings and plays standard electric guitars. He is joined by Keith Robinson on drums and Ken Rich on Bass. www.HughPool.com
Lucky 7 NYC / Faith NYC

9:30pm - Lucky 7 is back with a vengeance. Formed by Barry Ryan (Rockats) and Kenny Margolis (Mink DeVille,Cracker), Lucky 7 recorded three albums and toured The USA, Canada, Europe and Scandinavia from the mid 80’s to the mid 90’s. Writers from Rolling Stone and The New York Times have called their music zydebilly and a Cajun rhythm & blues rock’n’roll gumbo. Back with Ryan and Margolis are percussionist Boris Kinberg. Joining Lucky 7 is drummer Dave Donen, who has played with many great artists including Chuck Berry, Tim Hardin, Lenny Kaye and Marc Ribot and has played on 65+ recordings. 8:00 - The emergence of Felice Rosser’s FaithNYC reveals another facet of the seemingly infinite diamond of Black American music. Born in Detroit, she experienced Motown, the 1967 riots, Funkadelic, The MC5, The Stooges and The New York Dolls before moving to New York City for college. Blown away by Television at CBGB’s, she became part of the scene, befriending Samo— Jean Michel Basquiat’s tag at that time—and starting to write songs and play bass. Inspired by punk’s DIY attitude, Rock & Roll, Funk, Free Jazz, Dub, Reggae and the new Hip Hop scene all became part of her musical language. She was the bass player in Brooklyn’s all-female reggae band Sistren before she formed FaithNYC, which became part of Vernon Reid’s Black Rock Coalition. Guitarist Al Maddy was a member of Sire recording artists The Nitecaps and has played with artists as varied as Donovan and the Moroccan Jajouka master Bachir Attar. Grammy Nominated songwriter, NY Blues Hall of Fame inductee,and 2024 featured artist for Manhattan Short Film festival, Christine Santelli (guitar, vocals) teams up with Blues Hall of Fame, powerhouse Heather Lil’ Mama Hardy (fiddle,vocals). With a new recording “Live in the Parlour” and recently playing the Hudson West Music festival in Jersey City, Santelli and Hardy are out and about doing festivals, house concerts bar gigs performance venues throughout the country.. Heather now resides and in Tucson Arizona where she has a successful career with her own Band Lil’ Mama. Heather Hardy: "Heather Hardy's violin slices through like a diving falcon. Her solos marry lightning virtuosity with melodic sophistication and unhindered soul." Chris Campion has one of the longest running residencies at 11th St. Bar, "The Last Thursday of Every Month." He brings an eclectic mix of both original and cover songs tied together by some of the best between song banter you'll ever hear. He is joined by any number of his musical co conspirators including Bennett LaGreca, Paul Giannini, Bill Ryan, Mike Cranmer, or even his brother, Billy Campion. Jamie Thomas Band
Tuesday July 1st
Jamie Thomas had his musical epiphany not at the proverbial crossroads but a schoolyard in Astoria, Queens, where the music of Bob Dylan, Lou Reed, Johnny Cash, The Rolling Stones and others touched his soul and inspired him to write songs. He honed his skills as a performer playing New York clubs with his band 3rd Man Out before striking out on his own. Jamie continues to perform his own steeped-in-the-tradition originals with his reinterpretations of other numbers from the great real American music songbook that span from its origins to today.
Jason Ewald Band

Multi-instrumentalist Jason Ewald writes songs to process life. His songs are about love, friendship and the confusion that comes along for the ride with those things. Sometimes he sings in the morning and it turns into a song about the nightlife. Sometimes he sings about the city and it ends up sounding like the circus. “Music is a way for me to express what can’t be expressed in any other way.” He stated in an interview at his Brooklyn apartment. Jason continues to be inspired by life and always has a tune in his head.

Sanford: is the brainchild of Brooklyn based, but South Carolina born musician Jay Sanford. He does all of the writing, arranging, and performing for his recorded music, including his previous original releases: “Gone to Hell” and “Farewell”. Pulling from a wide range of musical influences, Sanford: curates his live show setlists across genres and decades. From Hank Williams to Phoebe Bridgers to Sam Cooke to Joy Division to Fats Waller to The Rolling Stones, he subscribes to the idea that good music is good music…And to quote Frank Zappa, “Music is the best”. The St. Marks Saints

The Saint Mark’s Saints were born of Covid on the legendary and world famous Saint Mark’s Place in the basement of their bar ‘East Village Social’in early 2021. Their New York City roadhouse style of music has been resonating in the East Village since they struck their first chord. The Saints set consists of originals and obscure country, Irish and blues covers. The Saint Mark’s Saints are all pedigreed local musicians from the East Village with Gerard Gerard on vocals, Thomas Volume & Kid Bowery on guitars and Roger Mack on drums.

Big Mamou plays a rocking mix of original and traditional Cajun, Country, and Zydeco. They absolutely packed the house and blew everyone away at their “Fat Tuesday” performance last year. Fronted by accordionist/singer John Sherman and singer Julianne Fenhagen, the lineup also includes guitarist/pedal steel player Michael Levine, upright bassist Jim Fenhagen, drummer Billy Loos, and trombonist Fred Parcells with new addition Steve Skinner on acoustic guitar and piano! Esmoquinn is a musical collaborative in Brooklyn: created, led and established by singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jeb Colwell. Currently a three-piece, their live shows enthrall, amuse and entertain their audience with a plethora of playing styles. Minimalistic pop songs take the reins from jazz-infused latin tunes presented with a tinge of 90s post-wave attitude - often balancing a fine line between sincerity and comedic sensibilities, sung in English and Spanish. Esmoquinn has been brought into being by the protagonist’s urge to re-connect with his half-Mexican roots. It is also a reflection, a musical retrospective and an attempt to reinvent Colwell’s artistry and stagecraft in 2025. Friday July 18th
Austin-born, New York-based musician Ricky Stein writes songs that seek spiritual common ground between the mesas of West Texas and the cobblestones of South Brooklyn. Recent singles "Killer Waves," "Sight for Sore Eyes," and "The Night Is Young" depict city life in the modern era; "The Tex-Mex Song" balances out the set with good-natured humor. All songs are delivered with Stein's earnest baritone, accompanied by acoustic guitar, harmonica, and some of the finest backing musicians NYC has to offer.
Good Luck Mountain

Mike Ferrio's previous band, the much-feted Tandy, came to an end with the untimely death of his musical partner Drew Glackin. Good Luck Mountain is Mike Ferrio's response to the shock and grief of that event, and also a fresh start in a new direction. Good Luck Mountain is the name he's adopted for his new band as well as the name of the record; "seasoned players", he calls his new band mates, who include Konrad Meissner from The Silos (with whom Drew Glackin also played) and Matt Mays, once of The Guthries, but there's a host of other players on this album which features music that is carefully built - layers of sound that spring from some synthesiser atmospherics in the background and with changes of emphasis that are characterised by use of strings or horns.

Brooklyn band Wandering Years originated as the solo recording project of songwriter Gene Stroman. After making a string of home-recorded EPs, Stroman recruited friends to translate the Wandering Years sonic palette for a live audience. The amplified Wandering Years has won fans over with shoegaze/slowcore-inspired reinterpretations of earlier material and new songs from their first studio-recorded, full length album, Mountain Laughed (2023).
The Oystermen / Doak Hensley

The Oystermen are an Americana band that knows how to bring the party! Since releasing their debut album as a trumpet-and-guitar duo in June 2024, they've expanded their lineup to include a rhythm section and now perform around NYC as a full four-piece band. Described by The Ugly Hug music journal as "Brooklyn's newest bluegrass super-force", their shows are split between originals and covers of the old-timey songs they love. Oystermen Instagram
Doak Hensley is an American songwriter from Happy Place, TX. His songs are textured with the dust and grit of the great American landscape, woven from tales of salt of the earth folks. Inspired by hippies, rednecks, outlaws, and old cowboys who never thought much of labels, Doak’s music will put a boogie in the britches of anyone with boots to scoot and an ear to bend. Jack Smead's Birthday

Liverpool Football Club
11th St. Bar is the long-standing Official home of the New York Liverpool Supporters Club. Although LFCNY has expanded their reach with new bars, membership is still handled exclusively at the 11th St. Bar (on match days only).
The bar typically opens one hour before each game. Please check our events page for exact times. We do not accept reservations. It is first come first serve until we hit our capacity of 125.
Anyone can come to the bar, but if you are under 21, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. For big games, we would always recommend getting to the bar as early as possible to gain entry. We can’t tell you exactly how early to get here as it varies every game.
11th St. Bar itself is becoming quite famous in Liverpool and is on the list of tourist attractions for visiting fans. On game days the fans tend to be exclusively Liverpool fans, though opposing fans are also very welcome. Game days are well worth the visit, especially the big games with all the singing, chanting, and excitement associated with the great tradition of Liverpool Football Club.
