Leah Tash / Drew Jones
Wednesday May 25th
Leah Tash may have been born in 1995 and raised in New York City, but her sound can call to mind places long ago and far away. From a young age Leah was drawn to traditional folk and blues music and found inspiration in artists like The Carter Family, Bessie Smith, and Bob Dylan. These influences, along with her passion for rock ‘n’ roll, jazz and country music, dance through her songs and give them weight. The result is a unique style of Americana that Leah can call her own. Facebook.com/leahtashmusic
DREW JONES is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter based in New York City. Originally hailing from Knoxville, Tennessee, Drew’s musical journey began when he was young - watching his Grandfather’s Country/Gospel guitar style, and developing a shared love with his parents for Classic Rock. Drew's passion led to a steady diet of skill building and performing, from garage bands in high school, to playing for country rock bands in Nashville, and eventually moving to NYC to pursue his artistic dreams full time. His style can be described as a guitar-slinging, high intensity fusion of Country, Blues, Gospel and Rock. Drew released his debut single “I Never Sleep” in the summer of 2020, and has multiple new singles currently in the works.

Having been enthralled with music since childhood, the long-time musician has made a respectable name in the industry as a killer bass guitarist. During his career, PJ has accompanied artists like Merl Saunders, Keller Williams, John Kadlecik, Oteil Burbrigde and many other great musicians. In the last few years, PJ has taken a huge leap into the spotlight; having developed his guitar, vocal, and songwriting skills, this passionate musician found himself itching to bring the melodies that have meandered through his head over the years to life. After a chance reconnection with an old high school friend-turned-producer, the two eagerly combined their talents and jumped into creating music together. Keep a lookout for PJ’s debut single “Cold War” out late 2021.
